2020.12 Junior Quantity Surveyor

This role is an integral part of the Tungsten West Services Limited (TWSL) team working on the re-start of the Hemerdon Mine, from feasibility study, project re-build, commissioning/ ramp-up to full production.

Salary: £27-35,000 pa depending on experience

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the management existing supplier contract agreements, administration, billing and renewals
• Pre-, during and post-contract administration working with NEC, JCT or CECA
• Obtain quotations for work and products from contractors and suppliers
• Manage approved suppliers list
• Process orders and invoices for authorisation and payment
• Provide commercial administration support for new contracts and wider TWSL team
• Work in an organised and structured manner to meet deadlines and avoid errors
• Work in a responsible and safe manner as a key member of the TWL team
• Attend training as required to maintain personal qualification/competence
• Liaise with the broader TWL team and other relevant departments as required
• Work as a professional, upholding the standards of best practice at all times

Requirements:

• Eligible to work in the UK
• Quantity Surveying Degree or equivalent
• RICS registered
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Project management experience
• UK (or equivalent) car driving licence
• Computer literate
